Key Responsibilities

• Drive lighter, special purpose trucks and operate straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials.
• Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections, overseeing all aspects of the vehicle.
• Coach colleagues on new methods or work techniques to enhance team performance.
• Maintain professionalism in customer service while interacting with clients.
• Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
• Perform preventive maintenance and oversee the condition of the vehicle, including tires, lights, and brakes.
• Receive and relay information to central dispatch effectively.
