Key Responsibilities

  • Assess the extent of injuries or illnesses of trauma victims to determine the necessary emergency medical treatment.
  • Supervise emergency technicians and attendants to ensure high-quality care.
  • Administer pre-hospital emergency care and advanced treatments to patients.
  • Transport patients to hospitals or other medical facilities for further care.
  • Document and record the nature of injuries and treatments provided.
  • Assist hospital personnel with medical treatment as needed.
  • Maintain ambulances and emergency care equipment and supplies.

Requirements

  • Language: Bilingual
  • Work Hours: 42 hours per week
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 to 2 years.
