This is a permanent position offering 35 to 40 hours of work per week. You will be part of a two-person team or convoy, ensuring that our cargo is delivered safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials.
• Load and unload goods, ensuring the safety and security of cargo.
• Oversee the condition of the vehicle, performing inspections and preventive maintenance.
• Conduct pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections.
• Perform emergency roadside repairs and brake adjustments as needed.
• Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
• Transport and handle dangerous goods safely.
• Communicate effectively with central dispatch and relay important information.
