In this role, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, inspecting, and repairing a variety of heavy machinery and equipment. Your expertise will ensure that our operations run smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions.
- Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment to determine the extent of repairs required.
- Order parts and maintain inventory.
- Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts.
- Keep maintenance reports and documentation.
- Perform repair work on heavy trucks and service attachments and working tools.
- Verify and repair emission control systems.
- Assist process and machine operators in mineral ore and metal processing.
- Perform other routine maintenance tasks as needed.
Qualifications
- Education: Other trades certificate or diploma.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years in a similar role.
- Certificates:
- Agricultural Equipment Technician Red Seal Certificate.
- Automotive Service Licence (310S).
- Truck and Coach Service Licence (310T).
- Welding experience is an asset.
- Valid driver's licence is required.
- Criminal record check will be conducted.
