Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor 3-4 graphic designers or graphic arts technicians.
• Estimate timeframes for completing graphic designs and illustrations.
• Adapt existing illustrations to fit project requirements.
• Assist in developing storyboards for multimedia, interactive, and digital productions, including television advertising.
• Consult with clients to determine the nature and content of illustrations to meet their communication needs.
• Develop and produce realistic or representational sketches and final illustrations.
• Create 2-D and 3-D animated drawings or computer illustrations.
• Coordinate all aspects of production for print, audio-visual, or electronic materials.
• Consult with clients to establish the overall look, graphic elements, and content of communication materials.
• Determine the best medium to achieve the desired visual effect.
• Prepare sketches, layouts, and graphic elements using existing photo and illustration banks and typography guides.

Qualifications

Education

• Completion of a college, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma program of 1 to 2 years, or equivalent experience.

Experience

• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in 3D animation and graphic design.

Technical Skills
