Key Responsibilities

• Obtain special permits and other necessary documentation for international cargo transportation.
• Conduct pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections of vehicles, ensuring all equipment is in excellent condition.
• Perform preventive maintenance and oversee all vehicle aspects.
• Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
• Ensure safety and security of cargo through proper tarping.
• Communicate effectively with central dispatch.

Qualifications

• Hours: 80 hours bi-weekly
• Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
• Experience: 2 to less than 3 years in truck driving.
• Licenses:
  • Air Brakes Endorsement
