Position Overview

As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for managing our financial records and ensuring accuracy in our accounting processes. Key Responsibilities

• Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll
• Calculate fixed assets and depreciation
• Keep financial records and establish, maintain, and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
• Maintain general ledgers and financial statements
• Post journal entries
• Prepare other statistical, financial, and accounting reports
• Prepare tax returns
• Prepare trial balance of books
• Reconcile accounts

Qualifications

Education

• Completion of College/CEGEP

Experience

• 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in bookkeeping or accounting

Work Setting

• Willing to relocate to Conception Bay South, NL

Computer and Technology Knowledge

• Familiarity with accounting software
• Proficient in MS Excel and spreadsheet applications
