Your Responsibilities
- Drive lighter, special purpose trucks and tow trucks.
- Load and unload goods, ensuring proper handling and securing of cargo.
- Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials.
- Inspect vehicle conditions including tires, lights, brakes, and cold storage equipment.
- Manage payment transactions for goods and services rendered.
- Perform emergency roadside repairs as needed.
- Conduct pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections, overseeing all vehicle aspects.
- Carry out preventive maintenance to ensure vehicle safety and reliability.
- Relay information to central dispatch effectively.
- Maintain records of cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
- Transport and handle dangerous goods safely.
Qualifications
