Key Responsibilities

• Plan or adjust routes using advanced navigation systems to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions.
• Coach colleagues on new methods and work techniques.

• Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy.
• Load and unload goods safely and efficiently.
• Obtain necessary permits and documentation for international cargo transport.
• Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials.
• Oversee vehicle condition and perform thorough inspections of tires, lights, brakes, and cold storage equipment.
• Conduct pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety.
• Receive and relay information to central dispatch effectively.
• Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
