Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and lay bricks, concrete blocks, structural tiles, and other masonry units.
• Estimate materials, tools, and equipment needed for projects.
• Lay bricks, stone, or similar materials to provide veneer facing.
• Construct and install prefabricated masonry units.
• Prepare tenders and quotations for upcoming projects.
• Build patios, garden walls, and other decorative installations.
• Read sketches and blueprints to calculate materials required.
• Work at heights, on scaffolding, or swing stages.
• Cut and trim bricks and concrete blocks to specifications using hand and power tools.
• Instruct and supervise apprentices and other workers.
• Lay bricks to build residential or commercial chimneys and fireplaces.
• Restore, clean, or paint existing masonry structures.

Requirements
