Are you a skilled electrician looking for a rewarding opportunity in a dynamic environment? Island Abbey Food Science Ltd is seeking a dedicated Plant Maintenance Electrician to join our team. This is a permanent position with a work term of 84 hours bi-weekly, where you will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing our electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble fibre-optic and coaxial cables
• Install and calibrate industrial instrumentation and related devices
• Install electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, lighting fixtures, and other electrical components
• Maintain industrial instrumentation and related devices
• Replace or repair electrical components
• Test electrical and electronic equipment and components for continuity, current, voltage, and resistance
• Instruct apprentices
• Maintain, repair, install, and test switchgear, transformers, switchboard meters, regulators, and reactors
• Maintain, repair, test, and install electrical motors, generators, alternators, industrial storage batteries, and hydraulic and pneumatic electrical control systems
• Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair industrial, electrical, and electronic control systems and other related devices
• Conduct preventive maintenance programs and keep maintenance records
• Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics, and electrical code specifications
