Job Overview

As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you will play a crucial role in transporting goods and materials across long distances. Your responsibilities will include planning routes, ensuring the safety of your vehicle, and providing excellent customer service. Key Responsibilities

• Plan or adjust routes based on changing conditions using GPS and other navigation devices to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions.
• Provide professionalism in customer service.
• Load and unload goods safely and efficiently.
• Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials.
• Oversee the condition of the vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment.
• Perform emergency roadside repairs as needed.
• Conduct pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections, overseeing all aspects of the vehicle.
• Receive and relay information to central dispatch.
• Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
• Tarp and ensure the safety and security of cargo.
