Position Overview

As a Parts Technician, you will play a crucial role in our operations, ensuring that our customers receive the right parts and supplies in a timely manner. This is a permanent position with a work schedule of 40 to 45 hours per week. If you have 2 to 3 years of experience in a similar role and a high school graduation certificate, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities

  • Answer telephone calls and relay messages efficiently.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the office, supply area, and warehouse.
  • Perform general office duties to support daily operations.
  • Set up attractive displays of retail parts and accessories.
  • Address customer complaints and concerns with professionalism.
  • Advise customers on the use and appropriateness of goods or parts.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately.
  • Identify, label, and catalogue incoming items.
  • Issue and distribute parts and supplies for internal use.
  • Maintain records using our inventory control system.
  • Prepare and track work orders efficiently.
  • Process incoming requisitions and replenish stock as needed.
  • Receive, unpack, and sort incoming parts and materials.
  • Sell spare and replacement parts to customers.
  • Ship, deliver, or pick up parts, products, or equipment as required.
  • Store items in the warehouse, tool room, or supply area.

Required Skills and Experience

Computer and Technology Knowledge

  • Proficient in inventory control software.
  • Familiarity with MS Office and internet applications.

Equipment and Machinery Experience

  • Experience operating industrial lift trucks and forklifts.
  • Knowledge of pallet lifters.

Parts Specialization

  • Familiarity with agricultural machinery, construction machinery, heavy equipment, and small engines/generators.
