About the Role

As a Fish Plant Worker, you will play a vital role in our operations, ensuring that our seafood products meet the highest standards of quality and freshness. Your responsibilities will include:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cut and weigh fish fillets according to specifications.
  • Clean, trim, and prepare fish or seafood for marketing or further processing.
  • Inspect fish fillets to determine optimal size and quantity.
  • Unload fish and shellfish from vessels and transport them to the work area.
  • Operate forklifts to move products efficiently.
  • Condition fish fillets for wrapping or freezing.
  • Check products and packaging for defects, ensuring compliance with company standards.
  • Disjoint and remove meat from lobsters and other crustaceans.
  • Record production information accurately.
  • Set up and operate machines for packaging and processing seafood products.
  • Sort fish according to species, weight, and destination.
  • Maintain cleanliness of machines and work areas.
