About the Job

We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Fish Plant Workers. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you will play a crucial role in processing seafood products. Key Responsibilities

  • Cut and weigh fish fillets according to specifications.
  • Clean, trim, and prepare fish or seafood for marketing or further processing.
  • Inspect fish fillets to determine optimal size and quantity.
  • Unload fish and shellfish from vessels and transport them to the work area.
  • Operate forklifts to move unloaded products efficiently.
  • Condition fish fillets for wrapping or freezing.
  • Check products and packaging for defects, ensuring compliance with company standards.
  • Disjoint and remove meat from lobsters and other crustaceans.
  • Record production information accurately.
  • Set up and operate machines for canning, packaging, and processing seafood products.
  • Weigh fish or shellfish, record weights, and pack in ice.
  • Maintain cleanliness of machines and work areas.
  • Sort fish according to species, weight, and destination.
