Your Role

As a Truck Driver at Mango Fresh Market, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our goods reach their destinations safely and on time. Your responsibilities will include:

• Loading and unloading goods with care and efficiency.
• Operating and driving straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials.
• Overseeing the condition of the vehicle and inspecting tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment.
• Performing emergency roadside repairs when necessary.
• Conducting pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety.
• Receiving and relaying information to central dispatch.
• Recording cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
• Tarping and ensuring the safety and security of cargo.

What We’re Looking For

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
• Experience: Will train; previous driving experience is a plus.
• Certificates, Licences, Memberships, and Courses: Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi-trailer trucks).
• Transportation/Travel Experience: Long-haul, provincial/territorial, and short-haul experience is preferred.

Work Schedule

This is a permanent position with a work schedule of 30 to 40 hours per week. The primary language of work is English.
