Reporting to the Chief Engineer, this position requires individuals who are organized and self- starter. Duties include those of performing aircraft maintenance, organizing and housekeeping of the hangar facility. The position does involve shift work including days, evenings and weekends.as well as an on-call rotation.
Canadian Helicopters is currently seeking Rotary Wing Aircraft Maintainers (AME's and Apprentices) for fixed base work in Southport Manitoba.
Potential to migrate to the FAcT contract;
Potential to work on brand new, state of the art, Airbus H135 aircraft in the future;
Qualifications
- Must hold a valid Transport Canada M1 and/or M2 AME license.
- Have successfully completed a basic maintenance course from a Transport Canada Civil Aviation (TCCA) acceptable training organisation or within DND.
- Must hold a valid driver's licence.
- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a security level of Enhanced Reliability.
- Experience on Bell 412 and 206 is an asset.
- Consideration will be given to applicants with a Canadian Military aircraft maintenance qualification.
