Within a shared services center, as an HR Advisor, you'll support employees and managers by offering comprehensive assistance on a wide array of human resources concerns, encompassing policies, processes, activities, and services.
You'll also provide essential guidance to managers to optimize human resources management practices while fostering a supportive environment that encourages team development and goal attainment.
What you'll do

  • Manage employee records and handle customer service tasks related to employee files, disability files, and documentation compliance.

  • Act as a go-to resource, providing guidance and support to address employee and managerial inquiries across various HR topics, programs and policies.

  • Offer expert advice to employees and managers, leveraging knowledge of the studio HR policies and organizational dynamics.

  • Provide assistance and guidance across all HR processes and operations, including onboarding, performance evaluations, career development, and job transitions.

  • Ensure adherence to legal regulations while continually improving HR policies and practices.

  • Conduct regular presentations to introduce HR services to new employees and managers in both English and French.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to enhance and update HR tools and initiatives.

  • Support employees and HR Talent experts on different processes operated by the Shared Services team.

  • Provide support to Managers on topics related to:

    • Employee's integration process

    • Local legislation

    • Performance evaluation process

    • Salary positioning proposals and change of conditions;

    • Development plan (individuals and teams)

    • Employee performance issues


Qualifications

What you bring to the team

  • Experience in human resources, especially in advising managers and employees

  • A collaborative, customer-focused spirit

  • Solid communication skills (preferably in both French and English to support staff across our Canadian studios) and the ability to build trusting relationships

  • An eye for detail, a sense of responsibility, and good judgment

  • Flexibility in organizing your work, enabling you to plan and set priorities
