Position: Scheduling Clerk
Schedules: 6am - 2pm or 2pm - 10pm, Tuesday to Saturday
Location: London, Ontario (On Site)
Sodexo is expanding, and we're looking for a Scheduling Clerk to join our dynamic team! This is a full-time position offering a supportive work environment, excellent work/life balance, and the opportunity to contribute to ensuring customer satisfaction.
How You'll Make an Impact:
Create and maintain weekly schedules for housekeeping staff, ensuring proper coverages for all shifts.
Communicate schedule changes, shift assignments, and time-off requests to housekeepers.
Monitor and track employee attendance, ensuring accurate records of hours worked.
Resolve scheduling conflicts and ensure all housekeeping duties are adequately covered.
Maintain an organized system for time-off requests, shift swaps, and emergency coverage.
Support the hiring process by scheduling training sessions for new housekeepers.
Assist in tracking and reporting any scheduling issues or discrepancies to management.
Ensure all scheduling processes are in compliance with company policies and labor laws.
Provide administrative support to housekeeping management as needed.
Qualifications
What You'll Need to Succeed:
A minimum of 1 year of scheduling and staffing experience is considered an asset.
A minimum of 1 year of completion in a post-secondary Administration, Medical Office Administration program, or a related program is considered an asset.
Proficient in keyboarding with a minimum typing speed of 45 WPM, along with experience using Excel, Word, Outlook, and Cerner Capacity Management.
Effective time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a dynamic environment.
Proven ability to solve problems and thrive in a fast-paced setting.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong conflict resolution abilities and experience managing difficult conversations professionally.
Committed to maintaining Health and Safety standards while working in compliance with relevant policies, legislation, and best practices.
