Canadian Helicopters is looking for an Assistant Chief Engineer. The selected candidate will be working with the Regional Chief Engineer and the position is located in Les Cèdres, Qc.

The Assistant Chief Engineer will report to the Regional Chief Engineer and his duties will include:

  • Acting, in collaboration with the chief engineer, as the point of contact between maintenance field and remote base personnel and other company departments.
  • Providing technical support to field and remote base personnel. Liaise with various OEMs and suppliers for technical support where required.
  • Assisting in planning and coordinating logistical and maintenance aspects of aircraft deployments.
  • Ensuring, in collaboration with the chief engineer, that field personnel is provided with adequate tools and resources to perform maintenance on company aircraft.
  • Carrying out other duties as assigned by the regional chief engineer.

Qualifications
  • Holding a valid Transport Canada M1 and/or M2 licence would be an asset.
  • Holding an ACA on the Bell 206, AS350B2/B3, AS355N and/or Bell 212/412 would be an asset.
  • Organized and self starter. Able to manage priorities and to work in a very dynamic environment.
  • Knowledge of company systems (AS400, Crew Support Website) is an asset.
  • Must have the legal right to work in Canada.
