  • Produce a bimonthly full pay cycle by coordinating data entry, timesheets and meeting deadlines;
  • Update employee records, vacations, sick days, overtime, etc.;
  • Open new employee files;
  • Process employee timesheets according to salary policy and employment contracts;
  • Communicate with supervisors for timesheets approval and follow-ups;
  • Respond to employee questions regarding timesheets, salary policy, benefits and allowances;
  • Produce termination pay and records of employment;
  • Verify end of year statements (T4 and RL-1);
  • Other related tasks.

Qualifications
  • Diploma of College Studies (DEC) in Administration or equivalent. Any combination of education and experience will be considered;
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in payroll processing in a computerized environment;
  • Knowledge of the complete payroll cycle;
  • Experience in producing and verifying year-end statements is an asset;
  • In-depth knowledge of MS Office (Word and Excel);
  • Bilingualism, verbal and written;
  • Positive attitude, open to learning and collaboration spirit;
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to work autonomously and in team;
  • Rigorous, resourcefulness and good judgment;
  • Respect of deadlines, thoroughness and attention to details;
  • Demonstrated ability to process and respect confidential information.

Additional Information

Schedule: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday
