In this role you will:

  • Manage the development and execution of floor concepts, visual standards, and in-store merchandising concepts for our various brands and store openings
  • Collaborate with Merchandising and Real Estate Teams on design of store fixtures and vendor partnerships
  • Partner with Marketing and Merchandising Teams to conceptualize window merchandise campaigns and compositions
  • Implement and manage all merchandising concepts ensuring visual consistency by creating and communicating visual documents including planograms, window creation, merchandising updates, product signage, and instore marketing set-ups
  • Create and plan quarterly floor sets as per visual and cadence calendar
  • Lead the creation and innovation of in-store presentations that support key seasonal objectives
  • Establish strategies for in-store product placement
  • Collaborate to ensure storytelling is being executed in store consistently to drive sales.
  • Create and maintain a Merchandising Training Manual for the ongoing training of store sales teams
  • Manage annual visual merchandising budget
  • Partner with Merchandising and Store Planning to regularly review new skus, merchandise assortment, sales plans, in store quantities and dates as well as Creative Team on signing and graphics plans that enhance visual presentations.
  • Analyze performance and results on in- season merchandising as well as the strategy and process for future season merchandising focus development.
  • Create and manage store database (Stores with windows, window dimensions, store types, capacity information)

Qualifications

The Qualifications and Experience we like to see:

  • University or College degree in Design, Merchandising, Business or related discipline.
  • 3+ years' experience in managing corporate visual merchandising or store design initiatives with store teams for multiple stores and/or regions.
  • Self-Starter and creative with demonstrated experience in store design and retail operations is critical to the success of this role.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, project management, organizational, relationship-building, analytical, presentation and project management skills.
  • Manage multiple and competing priorities in a fast pace work environment.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and effectively with both internal and external stakeholders as well as build and develop strong partnerships.
  • Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint; CAD, In-Design, SketchUp or any other design software would be a definite asset
