Your life at Canam

As an Architectural building specialist at Canam, you'll be instrumental in developing and maintaining expertise in building envelope, fire resistance, and sound transmission standards for all Hambro products. You'll stay on top of evolving building codes and standards across Canada and the United States, ensuring that our products not only comply but set the standard.

With your proactive curiosity, you'll continually seek ways to elevate our standards and products. Throughout your day, you'll collaborate with various internal teams—whether in preconstruction, sales, or project management—helping ensure that our solutions align with building codes and meet clients' genuine needs. In this role, you'll regularly engage with external consultants (architects, engineers, building code specialists, and city officials) to confirm that our products meet the highest energy and code compliance standards.

You'll also provide critical support to the various departments, working collaboratively to develop specific architectural or building envelope details for contracted projects. • DEC in Architecture or Civil Engineering
• Knowledge of Canam Buildings products or knowledge of architecture and building envelope
• Minimum 10 years of experience in the building industry (steel construction and building envelope)
• Bilingual in French and English, as you'll be communicating with French and English-speaking colleagues
