In your new role as Campus Chef, you will provide day to day kitchen support at our campus account located in Langley. This account supports all day-to-day food service operations as well as meals over the weekend period for students that reside on campus. We also offer catering services on campus for special events, meetings and ceremonies.

Your duties for this role will include:

• Oversee food production, food service, menu planning as well as event catering planning
• Responsible for catering and customer service
• Direct and coordinate employee activities
• Meet with guests and clients as the face of the food services department
• Train kitchen teams
• Support our robust food and physical safety programs within our sites
• Follow the various Sodexo programs: Food Safety, Health & Safety, etc.

• 2- 5years' experience in a well-established food service facility & in catering
• Red Seal certified is mandatory
• Proven experience managing high volume Food & Beverage departments
• Ability to work to high standards, policies, and procedures
• Must possess strong team building skills: friendly, outgoing, customer service oriented
• Computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
• Experience with Human Resources (staffing, scheduling, coaching and training of kitchen teams)
• Valid driver's license and access to vehicle is an asset
