As a BIM and GIS (Geographic Information System) site technician at Canam, you will provide crucial technical support to site teams, using 3D scans, geospatial and metrology to optimize BIM processes. You will be the BIM point of contact for effectively integrating these technologies, improving the quality and accuracy of 3D models on site. You will also be responsible for 3D scans of certain plants. In addition, you will be called upon to train and actively support field teams in the optimal use of 3D scans, integrating advanced geospatial and metrology techniques. Your BIM expertise and construction experience will be major assets in improving processes on site, with a focus on the quality and accuracy of geospatial data. Your flexibility to travel will ensure smooth collaboration with all parties involved. • University degree or college diploma in construction or construction experience
• Previous experience in BIM, geospatial, metrology
• Ability to communicate in English and French, as you will be interacting with French-speaking colleagues.
