RESPONSIBILITIES
Process Network, Cybersecurity, and Data Management

  • Work with the sites to ensure standards and policies are implemented and audit for compliance.
  • Develop documented standards where they may not exist.
  • Improve the security of OT systems by utilizing site resources to identify and implement projects/policies to close gaps.
  • Oversee purchases for OT equipment, including Industrial Data Centers to ensure standards and compliance are met.
  • Point of contact for Rockwell Automation to ensure best use of the Company's contracts with them.
  • Work closely with the JDI OT group to ensure best practices concerning network and IDC design and cybersecurity efforts are followed.

Automation and Controls

  • Work with the sites to ensure standards and policies are implemented and audit for compliance.
  • Manage the development and implementation of Asset Management software across all sites to ensure tracking of backups, changes, etc.
  • Review major spending and capital plans to ensure best practices and Company-wide needs are met.
  • Oversee Preventative Maintenance plans for all major electrical, automation, controls, power, and OT systems to ensure asset reliability.
  • Work with the sites to manage the overall administration and standardization of the PI Data Historian.
  • Recommend changes in new equipment requirements as required.

Asset Reliability

  • Provide electrical, automation, controls, power, and OT systems support for the Early Equipment Management efforts, including hierarchy recommendations, PM development, standards, etc.
  • Maintain a consistent obsolescence plan for all electrical, automation, control, power, and OT systems throughout Irving Consumer Products to maximize value and extend useful life.

People Development

  • Recommend and facilitate training for OT and E&I personnel
  • Coach and Mentor individuals at the site level as required/needed
  • Assist in developing standardized job requirements documentation as needed in relevant fields and crafts.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education:

  • A BS in Engineering or 7+ years of equivalent work experience is required.
  • Certification/training in networking, cybersecurity, and/or server management is preferred.

Experience:

  • 5 years' experience in a relevant field required.
  • Solid understanding of networking, cybersecurity, etc. is required.
  • Direct experience with OT systems, automation, controls and/or cybersecurity is preferred.
  • Automation and controls experience is preferred.
  • Power system experience is a plus.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment is required.
  • Training and/or experience with ethernet network systems is required.
  • Excellent computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Office programs, are required.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on leadership are required.
  • Training/experience related to Operational Technology systems and Cybersecurity is preferred.
  • Previous industrial automation and controls experience is preferred.
  • Experience with Rockwell Automation controls is preferred.
  • Process Improvement experience (Lean/Six Sigma) is a plus.
  • Experience with a CMMS is a plus, with JDE experience preferred.
