JOB DESCRIPTION
This position is responsible for ensuring our Quality Management Systems are effective and in accordance with ISO 9001. This role will focus on educating and supporting to the business to ensure alignment of the Quality Management System.
RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for supporting the development, improvement, and implementation of quality management systems, standards, and controls.
  • Supporting the creation and delivery of training packages for systems and standards.
  • Support continual improvement initiatives through engagement with business stakeholders, including participation on project teams and meetings.
  • Work with the Quality team to encourage stakeholder engagement, foster team relationships, and improve processes within the department.
  • Ensuring all contractual requirements and deliverables are compiled and submitted on time.
  • Create and manage all process documentation to support quality systems, and improvements.
  • Participate in Audit Lite program.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education: Bachelor's degree, preferable in Engineering or related field.
  • 2-5 years of relevant working experience.
  • Strong working knowledge with problem solving/root cause analysis.
  • Knowledge of ISO 2015:9001 is considered an asset.
  • 1-2 years of experience working within the Defense or Manufacturing Industry considered an asset.
  • Change management mindset.
  • Lean six sigma and/or PMP considered an asset.
  • Excellent communication skills.
