JOB DESCRIPTION
As the Brand Specialist, you will work collaboratively with the Corporate Communications team and Divisional Human Resources team to improve communication processes and tools across the Pulp & Paper Division. You will also lead Student Recruitment for the Pulp & Paper Division.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and execute work and communications plans to a defined calendar in support of departmental and organizational goals
- Message development from beginning to end including planning, writing, reviewing, formatting, editing, proofreading, and delivering through various communication channels
- Complete writing assignments according to set standards regarding accuracy, clarity, conciseness, style, and terminology using approved processes
- Identify, research, assess and create editorial content for internal and external use across the organization in accordance with established processes
- Work collaboratively with graphic designers to assist in the development of materials for publication via various channels including digital, social, and print
- Audit internal communication systems and provide advice/recommendations to senior leaders
- Participating in meetings, training sessions and workshops and provide recommendations for improvements
- Lead and execute Student Recruitment for the Pulp & Paper Division
QUALIFICATIONS
- University Degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related fields is preferred
- Exceptional attention to detail
- High energy contributor with dedication to meeting customer needs
- Demonstrated experience and proficiency in developing, delivering, and optimizing social and digital media for multiple audiences
- Demonstrated track record in prioritizing and time management with the ability to work on multiple projects with tight deadlines as competing priorities emerge
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
