JOB DESCRIPTION
The Office Assistant has a flexible role that provides support to our Office Managers in administration related to expenses, payroll, receiving, and inventory.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Use the latest ERP software system to specialize in the daily administration of purchase orders, shipments, inventory integrity, and exflow
- Communicate with vendors, head office accounting, and associates to ensure documents are processed in a timely manner
- Be the point of contact for uniforms and inquiries
- Daily cash balancing
- Creating reports and files as required
- Completing daily timecards for payroll and keying schedules
- Cover the Customer Service Desk's breaks and/or lunches
- Perform administrative duties for the Office Manager as required
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
QUALIFICATIONS
- Should be a team and result-oriented driven person
- Ability to work independently with strong attention to detail and a sense of urgency
- Ability to solve problems and work under pressure with minimal supervision
- Have knowledge about customer service best practices
- Microsoft Office skills
- Experience in a similar role is an asset
