JOB DESCRIPTION
Midland Transport Limited is currently seeking professional Class 1 Owner Operator P&D Driver based in Concord, ON.
The selected candidate will be a reliable person with a strong work ethic, positive attitude and strong commitment to providing Superior Quality Service.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Deliver freight to assigned locations ensuring timely delivery.
- Offload variable shipment weight and handle freight equipment properly and in a safe manner to avoid any damage.
- Communicate efficiently with the central dispatch and customers.
- Operate the tractor trailer in accordance with the safety regulation: company rules while following safety procedures and traffic laws.
- Perform pre-trip, en-route and post-trip inspections and oversee all aspects of the truck operation.
- Report any incident, accident, injury or damage in a timely manner.
- Willingness to work day shift (shift starts between 9am and 12 pm)
QUALIFICATIONS
- Newer model of a Day Cab Truck.
- Education Required: High School or GED.
- Class 1 driver's license with a minimum of 2 years of safe tractor trailer driving experience in North America required.
- Clean driver's abstract and criminal search.
- Familiarity with satellite systems.
- Excellent communication skills, work ethic and reliability.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs. using the proper equipment.
- Safety conscious.
- Must have flexibility to work various shifts: Days, Evenings, Nights, Weekends.
