JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a Mobile Footwear Sales Specialist to grow our Apparel business! The successful candidate is passionate about the Apparel Industry!
In this role, the Mobile Footwear Sales Specialist drives our fully stocked truck & cargo trailer to our customer's workplaces, addressing the footwear needs of their employees by providing the proper fit and the right recommendations for appropriate footwear for the job.
The ideal candidate is a confident and capable team player who can work independently, with experience in driving a large pickup truck and cargo trailer. With extensive knowledge of safety footwear, this person is dedicated to ensuring customers' comfort at work while achieving sales targets.
The successful candidate will travel approximately 75% of the time, across several provinces, and will require flexibility in their schedule to adapt to changing weather conditions & customer needs.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Successfully complete transactions using a mobile POS system & manage truck inventory in our inventory & sales system.
  • Ensure customer concerns are dealt with effectively, promptly, and with the utmost consideration.
  • Build lasting relationships with corporate contacts, stay connected, and share suggestions for improvement.
  • Develop proficiency in all operational policies and procedures.
  • Responsible for inventory counting, ordering, and stocking of new merchandise.
  • Accurately process sales and exchanges/refunds using the company's POS system.
  • Responsible for the daily housekeeping of the Mobile.
  • Identify maintenance needs and communicate to Management for repair.
  • Protect company assets and minimize loss by following Chandler policies and procedures.
  • Perform a daily circle check of the truck with no exceptions.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • A Class 5 license is required.
  • Bi-lingual candidate strongly preferred.
  • A clean driving abstract is required.
  • Ability to carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Willingness to travel and accommodate overnight stays, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in varying environments.
  • One year of work-related experience such as customer service and/or route sales-driving is required, or the capacity to undergo extended on-the-job training.
  • Background in retail management would be advantageous.
  • Ability to problem solve and excel independently under pressure while effectively prioritizing tasks and ensuring consistent high-quality performance.
  • Proficiency in delivering outstanding customer service, establishing a reputation for going above and beyond to meet customer needs.
  • Demonstrates strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively coordinate with customers and internal teams, ensuring clear and concise information exchange.
  • Proficiency in using POS systems to process cash/card/voucher transactions and manage customer information.
  • Work requires regular intensive activities such as carrying objects weighing up to 50 pounds, use of ladders to safely access elevated areas, and standing/sitting for extended periods, bending and/or moving comfortably in confined spaces to perform job tasks.
  • Work requires vigilance, concentration, and attention to detail for longer periods of time.
  • Work often requires frequent exposure to disagreeable elements, given the predominant nature of the role involves driving.
