JOB DESCRIPTION
As the Project Manager you will lead a team of associates to manage the company's inventory accuracy, look for opportunities to increase capacity, identify ways to better leverage the Warehouse Management System (WMS), and identify opportunities for improvement. This will include arranging daily tasks, heading projects to enhance operational efficiencies and coordinating with other departments on processes and procedures. In addition, you will be responsible for the WMS, which includes working with our vendor, on system enhancements and problem-solving errors that arise.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage a small team
- Monitor and report inventory accuracy
- Own and manage special projects through-out the operation
- Identify ways to leverage the WMS system and problem-solve issues that arise.
- Work with our WMS provider for system enhancements
- Audit material and documentation for accuracy
- Work with our customer to ensure our inventory status is compliant
- Work closely with warehouse associates to achieve quality goals
- Supporting the workload daily and working together with the warehouse team
- Identify and lead projects that will enhance the efficiency of our warehouse operations
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelors degree in engineering or Diploma in Engineering Technology
- Safety mindset
- Experience with leading a small team preffered
- Attention to detail
- Excellent work ethic and reliability.
- Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
- Eagerness to learn about our operations. Our inventory team are skilled in many components and are expected to participate in cross-training.
- Being proficient in the use of computers and Microsoft suite
- Prior WMS experience is an asset
- Ability to multitask and be flexible, prioritizing what needs to be done at any given time.
- Must be able to work independently in a fast paced, ever-changing environment.
- Process Improvement and leading change experience would be considered and asset.

To obtain these clearances the applicant must not have resided outside of Canada for a period of six months or more within the last five years. These clearances require police, employment, and personal references.
