RESPONSIBILITIES
What You'll Do:

• Food Preparation & Cooking: Assist the Cook in preparing breakfast, lunch, and dinner daily, ensuring meals meet high-quality standards.
• Baking & Special Dietary Meals: Bake fresh bread, pies, cookies, and cakes while also helping prepare meals for employees with dietary restrictions.
• Kitchen & Dining Area Maintenance: Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and organization in the kitchen, storage, and dining areas at all times.
• Meal Packaging & Housekeeping: Prepare bagged lunches for offsite staff and assist with light housekeeping duties in the dining area.
• Customer Service & Communication: Respond professionally to inquiries, address concerns diplomatically, and escalate issues to the Lead Cook when necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS
What We're Looking For:

• Education & Certification
  • Minimum: Food Safety Certification
  • Preferred: Completion of a Culinary Arts program from a recognized post-secondary institution
• Experience
  • Minimum: Experience working in a kitchen environment
  • Preferred: Experience in a high-volume or camp-style kitchen
• Skills & Knowledge
  • Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
  • Ability to prepare meals efficiently and follow recipes accurately
  • Baking skills for bread and desserts
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and email communication
  • Excellent teamwork and customer service skills
