JOB DESCRIPTION
We are currently seeking a Communications/Marketing Student to join our Woodlands and Sawmills team. The selected candidate will work collaboratively within the team and will contribute to the growth of our brand by implementing marketing campaigns across digital, social, and traditional channels. RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist in the execution of marketing campaigns
  • Help to coordinate and execute internal marketing deliverables and ensure they are timely and accurate
  • Work collaboratively with graphic designers to assist in the development of materials for publication via various channels including digital, social, and print, as well as for tradeshows and presentations
  • Partner directly with various business stakeholders to ensure brand messaging is consistent and of high quality
  • Support day to day operations, including media campaigns, projects, newsroom stories, photo/video shoots and social media
  • Drive insight through use of analytics
  • Assist Senior Communications Lead with building out calendar of content six months in advance

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education Required:
    • Enrolled in post-secondary education
    • In good academic standing
  • The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • A strong attention to detail and comfort with repetitive tasks
  • Passion for marketing
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • A change mindset with a strong interest in process improvement
