RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Flooring Installation - Install various types of flooring materials, including laminate, hardwood, and vinyl, ensuring proper alignment, cutting, and fitting as per blueprint specifications.
  • Quality Assurance - Inspect and measure installations to ensure accuracy and compliance with project standards.
  • Material Handling - Handle and prepare materials efficiently, maintaining a clean, organized workspace and ensuring proper cutting, fitting, and placement of flooring.
  • Safety Compliance - Follow all safety protocols, ensuring the safe use of tools, personal protective equipment (PPE), and work practices.
  • Team Collaboration - Work closely with team members and supervisors to ensure the timely completion of flooring projects.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education - High School Diploma or equivalent; trade certification in flooring or a construction-related field is a plus.
  • Experience - At least 2 years of experience in flooring installation or general construction; experience in modular home construction is a plus.
  • Skills - Proficiency in flooring installation techniques, including knowledge of a variety of materials (laminate, hardwood, vinyl).
  • Attention to Detail - Ability to execute precise and clean installations.
  • Physical Stamina - Capable of performing physically demanding tasks, such as lifting and carrying materials, for extended periods.
  • Safety-Conscious - A strong commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
  • Team Player - Ability to collaborate effectively with others to complete tasks efficiently.
