RESPONSIBILITIES
Reporting:
- To assist in preparation of period performance and forecasts, annual strategic plan, and annual budgets
- Updates balanced scorecard reports and other period end reports as requested
- Involvement in new margin improvement initiatives
- Monitors the accuracy the efficient distribution of sales reports and other intelligence essential to the Irving Tissue sales organization
- Recommends revisions to existing reports, or assists in the development of new reporting tools as needed
- Assists in preparation and communication of balanced scorecard
Planning:
- Provide ad hoc analyses for sales leadership team
- As needed, coordinates planning activities with other functions and stakeholders within Irving Tissue North America
- Works to ensure all sales organization objectives are assigned in a timely fashion
- Provide input to senior leadership in the development and administration of sales targets
- Directs and supports the consistent implementation of company initiatives and processes
- Responsible for ensuring all stakeholders are aligned to the calendar and key dates scheduled for Irving Tissue
- Responsible for timely distribution of sales materials and sales samples to support new item introductions
- Assists and supports the equitable assignment of Irving Tissue quotas and ensures budgets are optimally allocated to all sales channels and resources
- Provide analytic support to regional sales managers and sales leadership on various projects and initiatives.
Process:
- Proactively monitors and strives to maintain high levels of quality, accuracy, and process consistency in the sales organization's planning efforts
- Coordinate sales forecasting, planning, and budgeting processes used within the sales organization
- Proactively identifies opportunities for sales process improvement
- Works closely with sales management to inspect sales process quality and prioritize opportunities for improvement
- Assist sales management in understanding process quality and prioritize opportunities for improvement
- Assist sales management in understanding process bottlenecks and inconsistencies
- Facilitates an organization of continuous process improvement
Organizational - Alignment:
- Reports to the VP Sales - Canada
- Manages and directs support of Administrative Assistant, service resources, and other sales management resources as needed, coordinating with the appropriate management-level supervisors
- Fosters close, cooperative relationships with peer leaders, sales management, and sales and support personnel

QUALIFICATIONS
- Post-secondary education
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Minimum of 5 years of sales or sales management experience in a business-to-business environment
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Self-starter with a strong work ethic
- Ability to adapt to a fast paced, dynamic environment
- Ability to deal effectively with internal and external customers
