JOB DESCRIPTION
As a Carpenter, you will work closely with our team to fabricate and erect structures that support the critical phases of our civil projects. If you are looking to grow your career in a dynamic and fast-paced construction environment, we want you to join us!
RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Rough Carpentry Work - Perform a variety of tasks in a civil construction setting, including framing, fabricating formwork, and setting anchor bolts to ensure project specifications are met.
  • Framing - Execute precise framing work, ensuring the structural integrity of the project.
  • Interpret Plans and Specifications - Review and work from blueprints, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate construction.
  • Formwork Fabrication & Erection - Construct and install formwork, and safely strip formwork after concrete is set.
  • Concrete Work - Pour, spread, and smooth concrete to ensure a quality finish for foundations and structures.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience - At least 1 year of relevant experience in civil or construction carpentry (2-5 years preferred).
  • Education/Certifications - A Red Seal Carpenter certification is preferred.
  • Physical Fitness - Must be able to lift and carry heavy materials (up to 100 lbs in a team setting), stand for extended periods, and work in a physically demanding environment.
  • Team Player - Strong communication skills and a willingness to work collaboratively with coworkers and superintendents.
  • Adaptability - Must be willing to work flexible shifts in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
  • Safety-Minded - A high degree of safety awareness is essential to ensure the well-being of yourself and your teammates.
