RESPONSIBILITIES
- Rough Carpentry - Perform rough carpentry tasks such as building foundations, installing floor beams, and framing walls and roofs, ensuring all structures are stable and meet project specifications.
- Finish Carpentry - Execute finish carpentry tasks, including installing doors, molding, stairs, and other detailed elements, ensuring high craftsmanship and client satisfaction.
- General Carpentry - Complete general carpentry tasks such as assembling materials, repairing structures, and performing maintenance across various job sites.
- Safety & Team Collaboration - Carry out all carpentry tasks with a focus on safety, following site protocols and collaborating effectively with team members to meet deadlines.
- Blueprint Reading & Compliance - Read and interpret blueprints to ensure compliance with building codes and accurate execution of tasks.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Education - High School Diploma or GED; Trade Certification or equivalent relevant experience in carpentry is preferred.
- Experience - 5+ years of carpentry experience; experience in a manufacturing or construction environment is a plus.
- Certifications - None required, but Trade Certification in carpentry is preferred.
- Knowledge and Skills - Proficiency in both rough and finish carpentry techniques; strong understanding of building codes and safety regulations; ability to read blueprints; excellent teamwork and communication skills; high attention to detail and safety awareness.
