JOB DESCRIPTION
TheAssistant Store Manageris an integral part of our leadership team. They are responsible for all operations within the store including delivering financial results, managing associate performance, and fostering a positive and inclusive workplace through employee engagement and store events. This position will also be responsible for the management of our back-end business including our dispatch and shipping departments, and delivery fleet.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Drive Sales by engaging with your sales team and customers directly to identify commercial sales opportunities.
Work closely with the purchasing team and sales to drive growth
Engage and motivates team members with energy/optimism, through company vision and effectively promote leadership at all levels
Possess an entrepreneurial spirit and continuously innovates to achieve great results and implement business improvements
Manage the Branch P&L
Communicate with honesty and integrity, and creates the space for others to do the same
Lead with courage, knowing the possibility of greatness is bigger than the fear of failure
Foster connection by putting people first and building trusting relationships
Identify new product or market opportunities to expand the business
Open to continuous improvement and responsible for independent learning
QUALIFICATIONS
5 years management experience in the commercial or industrial space
Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
Exceptional customer service skills
Ability to leverage technology for project management, analysis and solving problems (including Microsoft Office Suite)
Safety mindset
Ability to sell technical products
Undergraduate Degree is an asset
