J.D. Irving, Limited is currently seeking candidates for the position of Fleet Coordinator located in Saint John, New Brunswick.
RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coordinate and schedule round wood trucks and chip trucks using dispatch software
  • Update dispatch software to reflect actual load and unloading times
  • Provide directions to loader and destination locations
  • Order route permits
  • Manage route accuracy
  • Prepare reports for management

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education Required: Post-secondary degree/diploma in a related field such as Business, Logistics, Supply Chain
  • Years of Experience Required:
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office Suite (i.e., Excel, Outlook, Word)
  • Strong multi-tasking skills
  • Self-Starter with ability to work alone
  • Strong communication skills
  • Adaptable to constantly changing priorities
  • Ability to work rotating shiftwork schedule in a 24/7 environment
