JOB DESCRIPTION
As a CO-OP student supporting the Program Management team for our ship repair program, you will assist with various activities with supporting and improving the Ship Repair business. This role is an excellent opportunity to gain exposure and valuable insights into a position within Programs, including ship experience, customer relations, stakeholder management, and project management to name a few.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Help with development of processes, KPIs, and initiative management
- Support the Programs team with coordination between production and customer, managing internal and external stakeholders
- Work in process improvement project(s), data analysis, reducing wastes, and delivering customer requirements
- To complete assigned tasks, leverage strong communication skills to engage with internal stakeholders across several departments, including Planning, Scheduling,
- Production, Supply Chain, and Estimating
- Completion of program, project, and team presentations surrounding progress and performance reporting
QUALIFICATIONS
- Education Required: Currently enrolled in a 4-year degree program from the following areas:
- Business Administration
- Commerce
- Engineering
- 0-2 Years' Experience
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, openness to learning new technology
- Skilled in organizing and managing a variety of tasks with varying priorities and is a fast learner and effective problem solver
- Strong multitasking skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
All successful applicants must meet requirements for Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP), Canadian Government Security clearance, and U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
