JOB DESCRIPTION
$37/hr including Remote Premium
+Additional pay based on certifications
+Production Bonus up to $190 weekly
+Distance Premium

Veneer Sawmill is looking to fill Construction/Industrial Electrician positions with a reliable and motivated person who demonstrates a positive attitude towards teamwork.

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Be able to read and understand diagrams plans and specifications
• Perform the installation, verification and repair of cables, sockets, boxes, conduits, among others, electrical industrial control system devices and their devices
• Perform preventive maintenance of systems and their devices
• Be able to use specialized devices and software and make rapid diagnoses, while respecting occupational health and safety standards and laws.
• Work collaboratively with the management production and maintenance team.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Required Education: Industrial Electrician Diploma (Red Seal) or Construction. A Bloc 3 may also be considered
• Years of experience required: 2 to 5 years in electricity in an industrial environment would be an asset
• Knowledge or experience working with programmable logic controllers (PLC) and various control systems would be an asset.
• Bilingual - an asset (French/English)
• Demonstrate an interest in continuing to learn and progress in the electrician/programmer profession and in being on the lookout for new developments in the field.
• Be willing to work day and night shifts. As well weekends as needed.
• Meets JDI selection criteria
