JOB DESCRIPTION
The Project Engineer will be based out of Saint John, NB, and will be responsible for projects of various size and complexity from concept to completion. The Project Engineer should be able to work with a variety of work groups including other engineering disciplines, operations, maintenance, contractors, and others as required. Other key responsibilities will include:
RESPONSIBILITIES

• Monitoring the efficiency and effectiveness of contract employees.
• Design and specification of mechanical systems in support of projects and maintenance activities.
• Teach, mentor and coach Tradespeople.
• Assist maintenance with problem solving and redesign work, as necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in engineering; Mechanical preferred.
• Project Engineering experience in an industrial setting.
• Excellent computer, organizational and communications skills.
• Working knowledge in project management processes and tools.
• Working knowledge of mechanical design and maintenance, AutoCAD knowledge.
• Analytical and detail oriented.
• High level of commitment and self-motivation.
