JOB DESCRIPTION
Woodlands and Sawmill Division is currently sourcing a motivated student to be part of our Human Resources team. As a HR student you will be responsible for a variety of administrative and HR/Safety related activities that will give you an opportunity to gain valuable, hands-on experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist with full-cycle recruitment, including attracting and sourcing candidates, screening, interviews and working closely with Hiring Managers on candidate suitability
  • Work collaboratively with team members from various departments on a variety of ad hoc requests
  • Assist with other HR related duties that arise
  • Assisting with documentation of safe work procedures, coordinating new hire orientations and training courses
  • Lead and complete special projects
  • Various administrative tasks

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education Required: Business Administration/HR students available for co-op or Winter work term and in good academic standing
  • Years of Experience Required:
  • Self-starter, attention to detail, punctual, consistent, and flexible to changing tasks
  • Goal oriented, demonstrate initiative, and enjoy working in a team environment
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills and decision-making abilities
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office with excellent typing abilities
