RESPONSIBILITIES
What You'll Do:

  • Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support to the safety and operations teams, including scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and organizing documentation.
  • Compliance and Record Keeping: Maintain and update safety records, training logs, and compliance documentation to ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Safety Program Coordination: Assist in the coordination of safety training programs by scheduling, communicating with participants, and preparing training materials.
  • Operational Support: Support operational processes by preparing reports, tracking inventory, and assisting with implementation activities.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with the safety and operations teams to ensure smooth execution of tasks and activities.

QUALIFICATIONS
What We're Looking For:
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in Business Administration, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field is preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of administrative experience, preferably in a safety or operations setting.
Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and the ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure.
Certifications: Certification or training in Occupational Health and Safety (e.g., CHSEP) is an asset.
Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential for collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders.
