Reporting to the Recreation Director Key Responsibilities:

  • Opening and closing the Brundage Point River Centre as key and alarm code holder
  • Greeting visitors to the Brundage Point River Centre
  • Assist with tourism inquiries and directions
  • Supervising rental events and ensuring facilities are operational
  • Greeting and assisting event organizers
  • Assist official Town event and program delivery
  • Parks and facility monitoring & maintenance of Town facilities, including: Brundage Point River Centre, Unity Park, Veterans Peace Park, Ball Fields, Tennis Courts, Walking Trail, Parks and Playgrounds
  • Some light sweeping, mopping, dusting and cleaning of Community Centers may be required
  • Ensuring facility lawns are free of litter and debris

  • Be a high school student entering grade 10, 11, or 12 in September 2024; OR
  • Be a full-time Grade 12, university or college student in the current academic year of 2023-2024 AND attending a post-secondary institution full-time in the fall of 2024.
