Do you want to work on the cutting edge of cyber security research for the protection of Canada's critical infrastructure? Then, CNL's National Security and Critical Infrastructure Directorate and the Cyber Resiliency Branch is the place for you.

Located in Fredericton, NB, CNL's Cyber Resiliency Branch is situated in the Cyber Centre located within the Fredericton's Knowledge Park business cluster. The Cyber Centre is a world-class secure facility designed to encourage collaboration with industry leaders and academic research for thought leadership in the development and maintenance of critical systems. The Cyber Resiliency Branch's core facility is a state-of-the-art cyber range containing representative hardware and software used in nuclear power plants and other critical infrastructure connected to a full-scope CANDU-6 simulator. These systems have unique characteristics that differentiate themselves from typical IT and other commercial networks. Results from this research will be used to provide guidance to both regulators and industry on effectively meeting newly revised and released cyber security standards.
