Business and Client Services (BCS) is a premier partner in providing business and client services that facilitate and enable the growth of our Capital Markets Businesses. BCS is a core operational component of Capital Markets that supports the sales and trading functions of our business and supports our clients' experience.
Summer Interns are recruited into the various groups within the division including our Client & Data Management Group, Market Business Services, Regulatory & Risk Operations, and Settlements & Clearing Services.

What will you do?
You will join a specific BCS team to work with throughout the summer. The roles and responsibilities will vary depending on the team you are assigned to but could include:
- Review and analyze new business rule changes or system changes that impact reporting processes and perform associated testing
- Supporting our Regulatory team with various aspects of regulatory reporting to ensure Capital Markets' operations remains compliant with internal policies, industry regulators and tax authorities
- Supporting our Reconciliations teams by working with our internal settlement teams and Canadian/Foreign banks to identify and resolve issues
- Process regulatory documentation to support with client onboarding and client outreach
- Support our various trading systems including our derivatives products and related booking systems
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
- Very strong analytical and problem solving skills, with a logical mind-set and technical aptitude
- Ability to collect, analyze, interpret and query data Inherent sense of ownership and initiative
- Excellent communication skills - clear and concise oral, written and presentation abilities
- Proven relationship-building skills to create, maintain and enhance relationships with internal and/or external partners
- Ability to comprehend and document complex business requirements
Nice-to-have
- Studies in Accounting, Economics or Finance
