Participates in and supports the operational activities of the Benefits Delivery team through the Annual Enrollment Process for the Canadian employee base. This annual process invites all 65,000+ employees enroll / update their benefits plans.Job Description

What will you do?
- Administer and maintain company benefits programs
- Apply your experience and knowledge of the job and policies/practices to perform a combination of routine tasks and varied administrative/operational assignments including, but not limited to:
- Administering various employee programs, such as group life, medical, dental, disability, provincial health care
- Verifying eligibility for group policies and maintaining statistical data
- Ensuring that benefits administration actions are completed accurately and on time, e.g. assisting with the Annual Enrolment Period process - updating beneficiary designation information, processing benefit enrolment forms, processing Qualification/Disqualification of Common-Law spouse forms
- Assisting in the preparation of benefits related reports
- Participating in the implementation of new or enhanced benefits programs.
- Utilize the latest technologies available to meet business needs
- Be an active contributor to not only your individual team, but to the RBC HR community
- Work as part of an agile team responsible for end-to-end delivery of business needs
What do you need to succeed?Must-have
- Currently enrolled at a Canadian post-secondary institution with a focus on Human Resources, business, data
- Excellent interpersonal and highly developed communication skills (verbal and written)
- Creative and analytical thinker who is self-driven and capable of working in a fast paced environment
- Strong MS Office skills - Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint
Nice-to-have
- Ability to learn and absorb new concepts (in business and in systems) quickly and apply new knowledge

Please note: This posting is for a 4-months Summer 2025 Student placement with a start date of May 2025, and end date of August 2025. In order to be eligible for this 4-months Student position, you must either:
- Be returning back to school after the work term end-date of August 2025 ; or
- If you are not returning back to school (i.e. are graduating in August 2025), you must require the full 4-months work term as a mandatory component to in order to graduate successfully.
