Are you interested in the opportunity to work as an Anti-Money Laundering Student at RBC?
The Canadian AML Alert Analysis Team (CAMLAAT) provides a triage function within the AML FIU by reviewing flagged client activity and determining when client activity does not warrant further review and when client activity requires escalation to AML Investigations. The Co-op Student, Canadian AML Alert Analysis assists with the Alert Qualification process through completion of various supporting activities.
What will you do?
· Support CAMLAAT Managers in conducting risk-based reviews of AML transaction monitoring and UTR alerts for all applicable business lines to escalate unusual activity for further review and close false positives.
· Participate in training sessions and enhance knowledge of AML regulations and best practices.
· Collaborate with team members on various AML projects and initiatives.
· Provide general administrative support to the CAMLAAT team as needed.
· Constantly seek out better ways to do things, new tools, new technologies, and new processes.
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
· Currently enrolled at a Canadian post-secondary institution.
· Leadership acumen and a passion to apply it in a dynamic business environment .
· Excellent interpersonal and highly developed communication skills (verbal and written).
· Creative and analytical thinker who is self-driven and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
· Strong MS Office skills - Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Please note: This posting is for a 4-months Summer 2025 Student placement with a start date of May 2025, and end date of August 2025. In order to be eligible for this 4-months Student position, you must either:
- Be returning back to school after the work term end-date of August 2025 ; or
- If you are not returning back to school (i.e. are graduating in August 2025), you must require the full 4-months work term as a mandatory component to in order to graduate successfully.
